1.Greninja
Greninja is a water/dark type Pokémon most recognizable by its form “Ash greninja” in the show XY. Greninja’s signature move is “Water Shuriken” which attacks the opponent multiple times at once. Greninja is also quicker compared to other Pokémon of its type.
- Salamence
Salamence is a dragon/flying type and is a pseudo legendary. In one of the later wild zones you can encounter a static alpha Salamence, this makes Salamence a heavy hitter in competitive battle either in online ranked battle or the infinite royale.
- Zygarde
Zygarde is the main focus of this game and it’s a dragon/ground type with three forms and even has a ground type attack that can effectively hit Pokémon that are immune to ground type moves such as flying types.
- Toxtricity
Toxtricity is a poison/electric type with two forms based on its personality, the poison typing is good to use against fairy type Pokémon such as Sylveon, and the electric typing is good against flying and water types making it a very good Pokémon to use in combat.
- Gardevoir
Gardevoir is a psychic/fairy type making this a good Pokémon to use against dark, dragon, and many more types. Gardevoir can learn mystical, fire and grass type moves making this Pokémon exceedingly good in competitive play.
- Yveltal
Yveltal is the Pokémon of destruction, with dark/flying typing and the signature move ‘Oblivion Wing’ which restores some health to Yveltal. Yveltal can learn the move ‘Phantom Force’ which makes it avoid attacks for a minute and then attack the opponent.
- Alolan Raichu
Alolan Raichu is a psychic/electric type and is good to use competitively because of its typing and the number of types Raichu is super effective against.
- Darkrai
Darkrai is a pure dark type with its signature move “Dark Void” which puts the opponent(s) to sleep and makes the opponent easier to attack.
- Metagross
Metagross is a steel/psychic type Pokémon with only four big weaknesses, it is good to have on your team other than the fact some of Metagross’s moves are slow to start out making that its only downside in battle.
- Blaziken
Blaziken is a fire/fighting type Pokémon with a very decent speed stat, and a special ability that increases its speed every time Blaziken attacks an opponent
