Basketball is a sport people work for their whole life just to play in a league called the NBA (or National Basketball Association). However, that isn’t the only league players can play in. Some examples of different leagues include G league, Overseas, and Men’s Basketball League. But the NBA is the most popular league and the highest paid league. So everyone who enjoys the sport tries to get there.

But of course, it’s not an easy league to get in or to play in. Though there are some players currently who make it look easy. For example, Bam Adebayo scored 83 points in one game. Or players like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Nikola Jokic, Jaylen Brown, and Cade Cunningham. Those players are mvp candidates who are elite against other elite players. Just for example of how good these players are, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is averaging 32 points per game(ppg). Jaylen Brown is averaging 29 ppg. Nikola Jokic is averaging 28-29 ppg with 11 rebounds and 10 assists. Cade Cunningham is averaging 25-26 ppg and assists 9 per game.

And some older players like. Steph Curry, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, James Harden, Kawhi Leonard. Steph averages 28 ppg and is named the best shooter/ three-point scorer of all time. Kevin Durant averages 26 and is the one of the best scorers of all time. Lebron James averages 22 ppg and arguably claimed as the greatest player of all time. James Harden averages 24 ppg and changed the game with his move ,the stepback, in scoring.
